As we gather with family and friends, exchange presents and
share food this Christmas Day, let us not forget the real reason we celebrate –
GOD’s inexpressible gift to us, that gift too wonderful for words! (2 Corinthians 9:15)
JESUS was born to die; to atone for sin and become our
salvation.
“The gift of GOD is
eternal life through JESUS CHRIST our LORD.” Romans 6:23
And she will have a
son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their
sins." Matthew 1: 21
He was handed over to
die because of our sins, and he was raised to life to make us right with God. Romans 4:24
Prayer and Thanksgiving: Holy
GOD and Father, we have seen your salvation, which you have prepared for all
people - YOUR gift of love. We accept YOUR grace, we believe YOUR WORD, and with gratitude we
rejoice with the heavenly hosts, “Glory
to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is
pleased.”
